Festival of the Arts Dance Stage |

The North Park Festival of the Arts Dance Stage 2008 will present performances by 27 different dance ensembles with over 300 dancers from all over San Diego. Among them are Vernetta's Dance Studio, Ballet Folklorico Jaliscience, Culture Shock, Stage 7, TranscenDANCE, Arieto Borincano, San Diego Ballet Junior Company, Flamenco Olivar, Eveoke, TangoCentric, King-Chavez Arts Academy, and many, many more. Fine Arts in motion will entertain audiences of all ages at the 12th Annual North Park Festival of the Arts at the 32nd Street Dance Stage, featuring live entertainment by a wide variety of dance performers. Children, adults, seasoned professionals, dedicated amateurs, traditionalists and avant garde all attract a dedicated audience eager to enjoy! The Festival of the Arts will showcase some of our local talent and San Diego’s rich diversity by presenting live performances ranging from Hip Hop to Ballet Folklorico. The elegant movements provided by the San Diego Ballet Junior Company will captivate audiences with their unique style and graceful techniques. There will be much to appreciate in San Diego County’s rich heritage and variety of dance traditions with the performers from Ballet Folklorico Jaliscience, Culture Shock, Stage 7, TranscenDANCE, Arieto Borincano, TangoCentric, Flamenco Olivar, Evoeke, King-Chavez Arts Academy, Vernetta's Dance Studio and more! By including and celebrating the artistry of children, we allow them to realize how important their ideas and works really are. All of these talented performers will show the powerful artistry of movement and rhythm that will surely keep audiences mesmerized. |
